Variegated Spider Plant or Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum' is a species of plant in the Asparagaceae family originating from Africa. This monocotyledonous plant is suitable as an ornamental plant. However, it should be noted that this plant is unsuitable if fed with tap water containing fluoride, as this will cause the tips of the leaves to turn yellow or look burnt.
